SST Temperature OS provides real-time temperature control from BOF and EAF steelmaking through secondary metallurgy down to continuous casting. Real-time temperature predictions and real-time temperature recommendations at all relevant points in the process and for all circulating ladles are included. The system achieves the highest precision through a combination of built-in process expertise and modern artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques.

Temperature variances are reduced. Process stability in steelmaking and casting is improved. Temperature buffers can be eliminated. The system saves energy by operating all melt shop processes at globally optimal temperatures. More scrap can be charged to reduce hot metal and thus reduce CO2 emissions.

A simulation mode for all process control adjustments is included in SST Temperature OS.

The system works for BOF and EAF shops of all types. Additional sensors / hardware are not required. System output can be integrated into existing HMIs. Modern user interfaces and visualizations are included.
